SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2016

Staff Selection Commission conducted Tier 1 of Combined Graduate Level from 27.08.2016 to 11.09.2016. It is important to point out that this time Tier I exam is in online mode. Thus, it was difficult for coaching centers and individual education experts to release unofficial answer keys.

On 21st September 2016, Staff Selection Commission released response sheet,correct answer and submission of representations. At the moment you can check official SSC CGL Answer Key 2016 for Tier 1.
The Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 (Tier-I) was held in Computer Based Examination mode from 27th August to 11th September, 2016.
The candidate’s response sheets along with the correct answers are now available on the link given below. The candidates may login using their same User Id and Password which were used during the Examination.
Representations against the answers, if any, may be submitted online by 5.00 PM on 26.9.2016 on payment of Rs. 100/- per answer. Representations received after 5.00 P.M. on 26.9.2016 will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Details of SSC CGL Tier 1 Answer Key 2016
SSC CGL 2016 Tier 1 Question Paper contains questions on following subjects

• General Intelligence and Reasoning
• General Awareness
• Quantitative Aptitude
• English Comprehension
  There are 25 questions of 50 marks in each section. Therefore candidate can obtain maximum marks of 200 in Tier 1.
  Note – Till last year, there were 200 questions in exam (2 hours duration). Now there are 100 questions (75 minutes duration). This will in turn affect cut offs.

As per the Annual planner 2016-2017 TNPSC Group 4 notification Published today. TNPSC Group IV 2016 Exam on November 6 at various exam center across Tamil Nadu conducted by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission. Note: The candidates who have not passed SSLC Examination or its equivalent are not eligible even if they possess a higher qualification.

B. Technical Qualification:

1. For Typist:

Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting

1. by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
2. by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
3. by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

2. For Steno-Typist, Grade III:

Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand

What is the meaning of Rs 5200-20200 & grade pay Rs 1800 given by the government?

Government employees' gross salary is sum of different components.

1. Basic Pay
2. Grade Pay
3. Dearness Allowance
4. House Rent Allowance
5. Other miscellaneous allowances

Basic pay is written in format:

Number1 -  percent -  number2

Number1 - It is the basic pay at which your salary is calculated when you are appointed.

Number2 - It is the maximum basic pay a person can receive in a designated post.

Percent - To compensate for inflation, an increment is added to your basic pay after a fixed period. This increment is in percent of your current basic pay and the fixed period is usually a year.

Grade Pay : Apart from basic pay, government employees receive grade pay which depends on the category/class of employee.

The sum of basic pay and grade pay is used to calculate dearness allowance and other allowances.

The Dearness Allowance(DA) is a cost of living adjustment to allowance. It is calculated as a percentage of (Basic pay + grade pay). Dearness allowance is updated every quarter of calendar year to compensate for inflation in consumer price index. It may increase or decrease depending on inflation rate. (Decrease in DA is rare). 
House rental allowance(HRA) is allowance paid for house rent. It depends city to city. Cities are classified as X, Y and Z, on the basis of their population, as recommended by Sixth Central Pay Commission in 2008. HRA is also used by the Indian Revenue Service(IRS) to provide income tax exemptions.

Miscellaneous allowance(MA)  includes phone allowance, shift allowance, travel allowance etc.

Like DA all allowances are calculated on (Basic pay + Grade pay).

Now coming to your question,
Basic pay = 5200-3%-20200
Grade pay =1800

It means your salary will be calculated as
(Basic + grade pay)+DA+HRA+MA

Presently, DA is around 110%, HRA may vary from 10% to 30% and MA can vary widely.
Here I'm assuming DA=110% HRA=20% MA=40%

Gross monthly salary
= (5200+1800)+(7000*1.10)+(7000*0.2)+(7000*0.4)
= 18900Your net salary (that is your in hand salary) will be a little less due to PPF and other deductions. It is about 15-20% roughly. So net salary will be around Rs.16000 per month.

This salary will change after every three months due to change in DA.

After 1year service, your basic pay will be 5200*1.03 = Rs.5356. This increase in basic pay will continue every year till it reaches 20200 limit. But most likely you will be promoted to higher designation within first 4 years of service. And this cycle will continue with different basic pay limits.

Though Basic pay changes after every promotion, Grade pay may or may not change with change in designation.

5 வருடங்களில் ரீ வேல்யுவேஷன் கட்டணமாக ரூ. 75 கோடி வசூல்!!!

 

கடந்த 5 ஆண்டுகளில் மறுக் கூட்டல் விண்ணப்பங்கள் மூலமாக ரூ.75 கோடி ரூபாய் வசூலிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று தகவல்கள் வெளியாகி அண்ணா பல்கலைக் கழக வட்டாரத்தில் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

தமிழக மாணவர்களுக்கு தரமான பொறியியல் பட்ட படிப்பினை வழங்குவத்தற்க்காக 1978 ஆம் ஆண்டில் தொடங்கப்பட்டது தான் அண்ணா பல்கலைகழகம். பின்னர் தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள அனைத்து தனியார், அரசு, மற்றும் அரசு உதவி பெரும் பொறியில் கல்லூரிகளையும் தன்னோடு இணைத்துக் கொண்டு ஒரு மாபெரும் கல்வி நிறுவனமாக தற்போது உருவெடுத்துள்ளது அண்ணாப் பல்கலைக்கழகம்.

ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் மாணவர்களுக்கு இரண்டு பருவத் தேர்வுகள் அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தினால் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன. ஒவ்வொரு தேர்வு முடிவுகள் வெளி வந்த பின்னர், தங்களுக்கு வந்த தேர்வு முடிவுகள் திருப்தியாக இல்லை என்றால் மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு மாணவர்களால் விண்ணப்பிக்க முடியும். இவ்வாறு மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் மாணவர்கள் அதற்கென ரூ. 400 கட்டணமாகக் கட்ட வேண்டும். மேலும், நகலுடன் கூடிய மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு ரூ. 700 வரை கட்டணமாக பல்கலைக்கழகத்திற்கு செலுத்தவேண்டும்.

இது குறித்து தகவல் அறியும் உரிமை சட்டம் மூலமாக கேட்கப்பட்ட கேள்விகளுக்கு அண்ணா பல்கலைக்கழகம் தற்போது விரிவான பதில் கூறியுள்ளது.அதில் உள்ள பல தகவல்கள் அதிர்ச்சிகரமாக உள்ளது என்கிறார்கள் சமூக ஆர்வலர்கள்.

கடந்த 2011 ஆண்டு முதல் மறுக் கூட்டலுக்கு மட்டும் மாணவர்களிடம் இருந்து சுமார் 46.65 கோடி ரூபாய் பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது. மாணவர்களுக்கு வழங்கப்படும் விடைத்தாளின் நகல்களுக்காக மட்டும் 28.82 கோடி ரூபாய் பெறப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மறுக் கூட்டலுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை ஒவ்வொரு வருடங்களிலும் கணிசமாக உயர்ந்து வந்துள்ளது. கடந்த 2011 ஆம் ஆண்டு 54,531 பேர் விண்ணப்பித்திருந்த நிலையில் கடந்த 2015 ஆம் ஆண்டு மே மாதம் விண்ணப்பித்திருந்தவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை சுமார் 1.09 லட்சம் ஆகும்.

தேர்வில் தோல்வி அடைந்த மாணவர்களில் மறுக்கூட்டலில் விண்ணப்பித்தவர்களில் ஐந்தில் இரண்டு பேர் மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு பிறகு தேர்ச்சி பெறுகின்றனர். இது கிட்டத்தட்ட 40 சதவீதம் தான் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

அப்படி என்றால் முதலில் திருத்திய ஆசிரியர் முறையாக திருத்தவில்லை என்று தானே அர்த்தம்? அதற்கு எதற்காக மீண்டும் மாணவர்களிடம் இருந்து மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு பணம் வசூலிக்கப்படுகின்றது?

தற்போது ஒருநாளைக்கு ஒரு ஆசிரியர் 50 விடைத்தாள் வரை திருத்தலாம். ஒரு விடைத்தாளுக்கு 20 ருபாய் சம்பளமாக வழங்கப்படுகின்றது. அதவாது ஒருநாளைக்கு 1000 ருபாய் சம்பளம் வாங்கி திருத்தும் ஆசிரியர் செய்யும் தவறுக்கு மீண்டும் மாணவர்களிடம் பணம் வாங்குவது சரி இல்லாத ஒன்றாகும். அதிலும் மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு பிறகு அந்த குறிப்பிட்ட மாணவன் வெற்றிபெற்றாலும் எந்த பணமும் திரும்ப வழங்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று வேதனை தெரிவிக்கிறார்கள் மாணவர்கள்.

இது குறித்து பொறியில் படிக்கும் சில மாணவர்களிடம் கேட்ட போது, ” பணத்திற்காக வேண்டும் என்றே ஃபெயில் செய்து மீண்டும் மறுகூட்டல் மூலமாக உண்மையான முடிவை அறிக்கின்றார்கள். ஆனால் மறுக்கூட்டல் மதிப்பெண் வருவதற்குள் நாங்கள் சந்திக்கும் பிரச்சனைகள், வீட்டில் கிடைக்கும் திட்டுகள், மன உளைச்சல், மிக அதிகம்.” என்றனர்.

இது குறித்து ஓய்வு பெற்ற அரசு கல்லூரி முதல்வரும், இயற்பியல் துறை தலைவருமான பேராசிரியர் திரு சிவகுமார் கூறுகையில், ”இது எல்லா வருடமும் வருகிற பிரச்னை தான். எனக்கு தெரிந்த ஒரு மாணவனுக்கு முதலில் தேர்வு முடிவு பெயில் என்று வரவே அவன் மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு விண்ணப்பித்தான். அதில் அவன் பாஸ் மார்க் பெற்று தேர்ச்சி பெறுகிறான். மீண்டும் மறுக்கூட்டலுக்கு விண்ணப்பிக்க அதில் அவன் மதிப்பெண் 67 என்று வந்தது. இது யார் மீது உள்ள தவறு? இதனால் அவனுக்கு தற்போது மூன்று மதிப்பெண் சான்றிதழ்கள் இருக்கின்றன.

பள்ளி முடியும் வரை தோல்வியே சந்திக்காமல் தான் பெரும்பாலான மாணவர்கள் கல்லூரிகளில் சேருகிறார்கள். அவர்களால் இந்த மாதிரியான தவறுகளால் ஏற்படும் தோல்வியை ஏற்க முடியாமல் கடுமையான மன உளைச்சலுக்கு ஆளாகின்றனர். சிலர் தவறான முடிவுகளை எடுக்கின்றார்கள்.

இதுவே அவன் இறுதி ஆண்டு மாணவனாக இருந்தால் அவன் அந்த வருடம் நடக்கும் வேலைவாய்ப்புகளில் பங்கு கொள்ள முடியாத நிலை ஏற்படுகின்றது. சரியான நேரத்தில் உயர் படிப்புகளில் சேர முடியாத நிலை ஏற்படுகின்றது. எங்களிடம் நிதி இல்லை. அதனால் தான் மாணவர்களிடம் இருந்து மறுக்கூட்டலுக்காக வாங்கிய கட்டணத்தை முடிவில் மாற்றம் இருந்தாலும் திருப்பி வழங்க முடியாது என்று கூறுவதை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள முடியாது. அதை நான் கண்டிக்கிறேன். மறுக்கூட்டலில் மாற்றம் இருந்தால் முதலில் திருத்திய ஆசிரியர் மீது தான் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க வேண்டும்.

இது மாதிரியான தவறுகள் தொடர்ந்து நடந்து வருகின்றது. இதற்கு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் தேர்வுகள் கட்டுப் பாட்டு அலுவலர் தான் முதல் பொறுப்பு. வருடத்திற்கு வருடம் மாணவர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை உயர்வதற்கேற்ப திருத்தும் ஆசிரியர்களின் எண்ணிக்கையும் உயர்த்த வேண்டும். தவறுதலாக திருத்தும் ஆசிரியர்களின் பட்டியலை தயாரித்து அவர்களை தகுதி நீக்கம் செய்ய வேண்டும். இவ்வாறான தகுதி நீக்கங்கள் சென்னை பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் நடந்திருக்கின்றன. அண்ணா பல்கலைக் கழகத்தில் இதுபோன்ற தேர்வு தொடர்பாகப் பல முறைகேடுகள் நடைபெறுவதால், அது குறித்து பல்கலைக் கழகத் துணைவேந்தர் வெள்ளை அறிக்கையினை வெளியட வேண்டும். ” என்றார்.

கல்லூரிகளில் பெரும்பாலும் மாணவர்கள் வங்கிகளில் கடன் பெற்றே படிக்கிறார்கள். படித்து முடித்தவுடன் தகுந்த வேலையும் கிடைப்பதில்லை. இது மாதிரியான தவறுகளால் மாணவர்களின் கடன் சுமையும் அதிகரிக்கின்றது. இதில் தமிழக அரசு தலையிட்டு உரிய முடிவெடுத்து முறையான நிர்வாகம் நடக்க வழிவகை செய்ய வேண்டும்.இல்லை என்றால் என்ஜினியரிங் படிப்பின் தற்போதைய உண்மை நிலை அக்கல்வி மீதான நம்பிக்கையை மாணவர்கள் மத்தியில் குறைத்து விடும்.
